LEARNING ABOUT AUTISM

The quality of a society is determined by how it treats its weakest members. Some of its most vulnerable members are children and adults with a handicap for example, and this is why we have also decided to support families with children with autism spectrum disorder. We believe that our activities are also an important part of how to achieve greater understanding and support as a society.

How does our support work?

We have prepared a concept of long-term support for parents with autism spectrum disorders, either through online courses or webinars, or in person at trainings or other meetings. Our ambition is to help them not only by providing psychological support, but also by providing inspiration and recommendations in solving various problems that arise in relation to children with autism. Our role is simple – we are happy to take on some of the parental costs for the support services that are being prepared. This means we will save parents money in the long-term and allow them to draw on support, along with inspiration and recommendations when resolving various issues.
You can find more information on our tomavizi profileon social networks, and also on the Poznameautismus (Learning About Autism) profile and on Zuzka website:

This is why we have teamed up with ZuzkaDvořáčková from the Poznameautismus (Learning about Autism)project, which uses various publications, courses, consultations and lectures to help the parents of children with autism to cope with a difficult situation, while inspiring educators in the process of integrating children with ASD into regular schools. Our partnership focuses on parents of children with ASD. Raising children on the spectrum takes a lot of effort, a lot of creativity and endless amounts of patience. Parents of such children are extremely grateful for even the smallest progress andthey often have to take on many other roles in addition to
their role as parents – they act as interpreters, improvised doctors, teachers, therapists, friends and guides of all kinds. All this requires not only a range of newly acquired knowledge of this field, but also mental strength. And it is the power of sharing, the supportive and warm, albeit virtual, arms of people who live similar
lives, that gave rise to the idea of our partnership. We do not wish to provide one-time support. On the contrary – we want to become a long-term partner to parents.
